07/01/2009 - Danielle H., San Francisco. I've only been to auto motion one time, but I plan on going back. I started having car problems about a month ago, I took it to one mechanic and another and I was totally unimpressed when problems were misdiagnosed, expensive parts were ordered, work was done and the problem was unchanged TWICE. Then I found auto motion by chance when I broke down near the shop. They figured what was wrong out the first time. It was a huge many-hour job with a tremendously expensive part and the estimate scared me so I called other mechanics and the dealership to if the estimate was a fair everyone said it was a good deal. The customer service was excellent-- Jamie drove me to work when I dropped off the car and picked me up at the end of the day when I was done! It couldn't've possibly been more convenient. He also explained everything to me very patiently (even though I am not too familiar with auto mechanics). To top it off, he gave me a free follow up appointment the next week just to make sure the new parts were working properly. I would highly recommend this shop to a friend.

01/10/2009 - Don H., San Francisco. Auto Motion has worked on my car over the past few years and I have to tell you I am glad they are there to make things happen. After reading the reviews I had to post one myself. They are honest and I trust the whole team there to do a great job right the first time. Some times it takes a little longer than I thought it would but having an older Jeep Grand Cherokee it is nice to know they will fix it for me. My car is how I make a living. They never sell things I don't need and they show me things that need to be fixed over the course of time. Nothing is ever this minute. From time to time they are like all humans and forget something but if you point it out or they remember later they tell you. I like the people that work at Auto Motion and I will continue to take my truck here.

11/25/2008 - Al M., Colma. I've been a customer of the owner (Jaime) for several years now since he was a manager of a local tire shop, then an auto repair shop, and finally a shop of his own. I don't trust any other repair shop with my vehicles. Jaime and Ernesto (manager) lay it down pretty simple when there's something going on with my vehicles. I appreciate that! Sometimes it's a cheap simple fix or one that costs me more than I'd like. But...better they fix it for me than me. I'm just a silicon valley computer desk jockey. Bottom line, I know they'll do the right job by the time I get the phone call to pick up my car. They've never done me wrong nor have I ever been disappointed. I've had two vehicles that I've driven to 300,000 miles under their scheduled maintenance & care.

10/29/2008 - Jeanne L., San Francisco. I had a good experience at Auto Motion. The work as done properly and efficiently. Customer service was excellent. Clean waiting area or you can get a ride home and be picked up if you live near by.

12/22/2006 - Edward T., San Francisco . First off, let me start by saying that my truck is not your average vehicle. When I finally called Auto Motion, and they agreed to have a look at my truck, after being turned down by 20+ other repair shops who wouldnt even look at it, I was elated and have since had nothing but great service from these guys. For the record, my truck is a heavily modified 1975 Chevy 4x4. After calling and calling, I found that most shops in San Francisco can barely fit two passenger cars in them, let alone a lifted full size truck, and all but a couple who will touch an engine that has a carbuerater. So far, they have replaced my entire fuel system, installed a new carbuerater, installed brand new gauges and are about to rewire my entire truck. Highly recommended!

07/18/2006 - Jill H., San Francisco. I loved this place, I don't know much about cars, but these people seemed totally honest. They had my car for a week and consistently kept in touch, told me what was going on and what i needed to do. By the end of it all I felt like I was best friends with the mechanic.
